Welcome back to camp cyrstal lake ladies and gents and yes we have another remake of a beloved 80's slasher film.
You know i thought i would really hate this movie but the scary part is i really enjoy it, i am not saying it was the greatest movie of the year, but it was never suppose to be.
This movie has all sorts of potential they made jason back to what he was suppose to be a killing machine not some demon from hell. They also made him smart he set up traps all around crystal lake, also alarms that where triggered by trip wires that would ring a bell down in his underground pitt.
The killings scenes in the first 20 - 30 minutes of the fim where really clever so you think just by that the rest of the death scence would be the same, unfortunately i was wrong. The problem was you knew who was going to get killed as soon as one person left the group. That is the problem with this type of genere you allready know what is going to happen before it does and that is really sad.
Some of you might ask then how did you enjoy it well to me it was like watching an episode of the TV show "Supernatural" just an unrated version. Jared Padalecki who stars in friday the 13th also stars in Supernatural so for me the transition was easy.
