"Hellboy, Alien Resurrection"
I really want to write a full review about this but i find myself sitting here a little perplexed on how to write this. I don't want to be one of those reviewers who give everything away and not let the readers judge for themselves.
I will try to break it down like this.
This is probaly one of the best scifi movie i have seen in a very long time. From the begining to the end it i didn't walk away from this one. This movie had everything in it scifi, action, romance, monsters, and last but not least vikings.
I didn't have a clue how they where going to pull this off but the way they did i was really pleased. Now i am not saying this is a perfect movie there are holes in the plot, like how did Kainan (James Caviezel) go back in time to the viking age. Little things like this not much but i know why some people give it a bad review. I choose to let it go and let myself just enjoy this movie, and i am glad that i did.
The special effects where great, the location where spot on, and i really enjoy the actors that where cast in this movie.
James Caviezel who i am a fan of and i hope to see him in more movies in the future was spot on also Ron Perlman and John Hurt as opposing Viking warlords was a real joy to watch them banter at each other.
Sophia Myles another actress who should be in more movies really shine in this role as daughter to John Hurt character and love interest to James Caviezel character. Some of the best parts of the movie is when Sophia and James where on the screen together.
But the true star of this movie was the Moorwen
this is what monsters should be blood thirsty demons that don't hesitate about killing man, woman or child. From the mpment he walks on the screen until the movie ends he is the true force behind this film.
so in closing if you get a chance to see this film don't hesitate you won't be dissapointed.
