Well this isn't your grand father's Sherlock Holmes. Welcome to Guy Ritchie's reboot of the series?
Ok i am 32 and have watch almost Sherlock Holmes movie, tv show, play, and radio serial that was made, so to see something like this i am at a loss for words. To me this isn't Holmes i am sorry but it not, you are setting kids who have never read any Sherlock Holmes story for a major dissapointment, but on the other hands i am sure this will open the doors for some writers out there to write new sherlock holmes stories that have all the action and explosion and sex.
I know they want to update the character for today standard of a hero but to take away the dry sense of humor from Holmes and make it almost slapstick is kinda of a joke. Guy Ritchie could have made it as Watson would be the funny man and Holmes as the straight man but what do i know.
Will i go see this movie yes, will i like it probaly yes, but please don't tell me this is Sherlock Holmes cause its cleary not.
