Got a great story behind this flick... I used to work at Warner Brothers in development -- read scripts and shit on them basically... So, when I was working this film was shooting, on the lot, taking my parking... Instead of parking in front of my building, I had to park in the garage and walk through the Sarah Chronicles set every morning...

So, I was kind of annoyed anyways...
A friend's words -- "Really dumb comedy -- but check it out"... So I did, and...
Wait a minute -- before I review this flick...
So the entire production was MASSIVE, very expensive, bloating budget... I walked past Adam Sandler's trailer sometimes, never saw him, but spent most of time watching the set, if you have seen the film, the main set -- the Israeli/Palestinian part of New York, was Burbank, CA, on the WB set...
Watching the film process was exciting, there was a 100x100 foot scrim (giant silk for lighting) in the sky, hung with a 200 foot crane, the crane guys were a trip, there were like ex-Hells Angles or something...
But the biggest issue, besides the constant BBQ craft services smoke (our office was very close) was the EXTRAS... These people took over our bathroom...
We were always trying to figure out WTF with this movie... Why all the Middle Eastern extras? There was:
1. Ipod extra: Would dance with Ipod on all day long...
2. Juggler extra: When bored, would juggle fruit, I shit you not, juggle fruit...
3. Kojak extra: Mirror image of Teddy...
4. Cell-phone extra: Always on the phone, probably pretending to look important....
5. Old lady extra: Woman was like 100 years old...
The movie is a parody of old Israeli comedies -- which are funny, always deal with the beach, and have lots of nudity... I know some Israeli's and generally they do live in the early 80s still, culturally, physically, artistically... And eat a lot of Hummus... I eat a lot of Hummus...
I think the concept was new, fresh, interesting -- but...
NOT FUNNY! Be warned! Don't watch!
And to think -- Robert Smigel and Judd Apatow co-wrote this un-funny pic... WOW!!!
Everyone in the office had a feeling that this was a bad movie -- I was hoping to be proven wrong...
Watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall instead -- trust me!!!
